Our Troops

I had the privilege of welcoming home the troops at Camp Pendleton! I have 2 friends whose husbands were in Iraq and came home Tuesday night. My friend Lynn Muslin (Mentor Mom from MOPS) and I went and waited for a couple of hours late at night. Finally at 1 am the guys marched in. What a thrill to get to welcome them home. The experience was a huge blessing. To see families reunited after 13 months of separation was touching.

I am so grateful that we have people that are willing to make huge sacrifices to defend our country. What a mission-- what a calling
