A trip to Los Angeles

Donna, Barigit & I took the train into LA-- we stayed at a great little hotel 2 blocks away from Union Station. The public transportation system downtown is so good we were able to get around everywhere we wanted to go. China Town was so much fun & even the train ride was great.

• Going to Ken and Lisa's time share in Oceanside. Such a nice property
• Seeing the Pacific Ocean
• Walking on a Pier and seeing the Surfers / Pelicans up close
• Seeing the Sunset on the Pacific Ocean
• Going to Dana Beach
• Playing at the Beach with Barigit .
• Running from waves & getting wet. So much fun.
• Whale waiting at Dana Point.
• Seeing a Whale, Dolphins and Sea Lions in the ocean.
• Visiting Little Tokoyo
• Visiting China Town
• Visiting Mexico Street (Olivera Street)
• Visiting Los Angeles
• Visiting Hollywood Blvd. and seeing and walking over the Stars.
• Seeing the hand and foot prints at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
• Watching Barigit hopping from one print to another.
• Eating at In N Outs
• Eating at Rubies Diner.
• Eating Dim Sum in China Town.
• Eating a stem Artichoke stuffed with mushrooms and cheese. Yummy!
• Drinking hot tea from Starbucks in Albertsons
